Tangerine

Hubby planted a tangerine tree in our backyard last summer.
Honestly, I had bad predictions before that it won't survive because of the Texas heat. Well, I guess I was wrong.
Daughter harvested the cuties on New Year's day.
The tangerine is an orange-colored citrus fruit which is closely related to the mandarin orange. Compared to oranges, tangerines tend to be smaller in size, and have a looser peel.
